안녕하세요! 오늘 배워볼 곡은 에드시런의 명곡 'Shape of You'입니다.

 

이 곡은 발매가 된 지 꽤 지난 곡인데요, 포스팅을 하는 이유는 대다수의

기타 코드 사이트나 유튜브에서 거의 카포를 끼우고 연주를 하고 있기 때문이었습니다.

 

보통 카포를 쓰고 연주를 하면 연주상 편의가 생기는 일이 많은 장점이 있지만,

카포가 없는 사람의 경우 당황스러울 때가 있죠.

 

저 같은 경우에는 친구에게 손가락으로 카포 역할을 부탁하기도 했었습니다.

 

이 곡은 전형적인 Loop곡입니다. 네개의 코드, 두마디의 반복 구조입니다.

사실 이런 구성의 곡은 굉장히 지루할 수 있지만

노래의 특성과 랩의 특성이 함께 녹아들어있어 신선함이 있었습니다.

 

그리고 리듬 자체가 아프리칸 리듬을 기반으로 하고 있기 때문에

당시 대중들의 사랑을 많이 받지 않았나 하는 생각을 해봅니다.

 

기타 코드를 칠 때 가장 높은 음에서 나는 음을 Top-Note라고 합니다.

아무래도 제가 편곡한 악보를 보시면 원곡의 탑 노트를 살리는데 중점을 두었습니다.

 

당연히 이 곡의 핵심은 당김음이 첨가된 리듬이므로

이 리듬을 잘 살리는 가운데 탑노트를 제대로 살려 연주한다면

좋은 호응을 얻을 수 있을 거라 생각합니다.
